MasonsConnect news issue #3
It has already been 6 weeks since issue #2. Have been putting off writing because to be honest was hoping to have a little bit more to report. Namely completion of all documentation about how to use website. Due to various peoples commitments this is proving to be taking a little bit longer than first anticipated. Fortuity this is something we can all help with. If there is an aspect of using the website that you would like to share leave a comment on newbies guide to MasonsConnect.

http://masonsconnect.com/amaranth - The Order of the Amaranth has moved over to new website content management system. Features include pictures, calendar of events and personal contact form. Have a look.
A special focus now will be on documenting what has been done with Amaranth so that others may start getting their content online.
Icons added to posts. It is interesting how icons immediately help with navigation. We can now display an image for any taxonomy (category).
Content moderation enabled. Now when new content is added or content is changed it is put in an approval queue.
Current poll questions...
Should newsletter be sent more frequently? - Interested in feedback. At the very least we can report analytics.
Should there be a scheduled regular chat get together? - Reply to poll and/or leave comments with suggested time for chat if you are interested.

Should members picture be display next to comments - Looks like there is support for avatars to be displayed next to comments on posts. Visit FAQ for details about How to upload a picture into your my account.
