Fund Raising News

In 2010 we are committed to running four Sausage Sizzles at Woolworths, Station Street, Camberwell where the profits will be donated to Camcare's "Youth Suicide Prevention Programme". We are looking for volunteers to cook, prepare, collect money, set up and clean up and generally to help this very worthwhile cause.

Our next meeting

The next meeting of 275 will take place on Thursday 17th December (yes, that's right, the third Thursday) tyling at 7.30pm
We will open the lodge, transact any business , close and then adjourn to the Festive Board for some Christmas Cheer. Please come and jopin us; you will be most welcome

You may well want to talk about the great night we had in November when United Service Lodge enacted the Vacant Chair ceremony to commemorate Remembrance Day - a great night!

Christmas Luncheon

Remembrance Ceremony

25/11/2009 - 6:30pm

At our next meeting, 25th November, The Remembrance Ceremony will be carried out by members of United Service Lodge No. 330.

On that same night, a Men's Health Forum will be conducted by Bro Dr Andrew Woodard and Bro Dr Mathen Mathew in the South. The Lodge will tyle at 6.30pm and all Freemasons are cordially invited to attend.

The southern part of Balwyn contains Deepdene

The southern part of Balwyn contains Deepdene, which, in 1891 had a station on the old Outer Circle railway, which ran from Oakleigh to Fairfield via Camberwell. The railway was built with land subdivision sales in view, but its partial closure in a few years dampened prospects.
