Endeavour Court was ‘twice blessed’ at its August Meeting with the Official Visit of the Grand Lecturer, H.L. Dalvine Sheppard, from the Grand Court of New South Wales and to celebrate the 14th Birthday of the Court.
Looking back over the time we were reminded of the faith and positive attitude of just five members from Royal Victoria Court making a decision to form a New Court Steering Committee and how over a period of seven months the New Court Steering Committee grew till a total number of 43 petitioners were able to take part in the Organising and Constituting of Endeavour Court August 1996.
Our Grand Lecturer Honoured Lady Dalvene in her remarks spoke about the need for members to have a positive attitude and to discover anew the wonder of our ritual as we applied it to our lives and our work in Amaranth. Honoured Dalvene was accompanied by her husband Sir Knight Trevor.
Endeavour Court is well known for its ‘hospitality’ after the meeting we celebrated the occasion with a great dinner of pies, peas, potato and desert. We are always looking for new members to join us and will be meeting in September to look at plans for a ‘membership drive’.
