Kurana Conclave Changing With Changing Times

Wednesday the 8th September will be the next regular meeting of Kurana Conclave # 11 commencing at 6.30 pm at the Mornington Masonic Centre Barkly Street Mornington.

Master Masons who are interested in the Order of the Secret Monitor are cordially invited to attend the Conclave Dinner at the Tanti Hotel, Mornington on the second Wednesday of September and November 2010.

Pre Dinner drinks will be served at the Mornington Masonic Centre from 6-30 pm.

Kurana Conclave is now a ‘Dinner Conclave’ following something of the Epicurean Model adopted by a number of Craft Lodges in various States of Australia in recent years.

One great difference, however, is that our ‘Conclave’ Dinner’ while at a first class hotel is relatively inexpensive with a two course served meal costing only $15.00 – buy your own drinks.

Wives and guests meet at the Mornington Masonic Centre for drinks from 6.30 pm onwards while the Conclave Meeting is in progress and all depart and arrive at the Tanti Hotel (cnr Nepean Highway and Tanti Street) at 8.30 pm.

This new and exciting imitative is a change from the old style meeting and supper afterwards. It’s part of Kurana changing with changing times.
