"In September, the Potentate Jay Williams, Chief Rabban, Al Weisser, and his wife Sheri Weisser of Aahmes Shrine Temple in California, met with the Deputy Grand Master and Grand Secretary at Dallas Brooks Centre to discuss the beginning of a new era for Freemasons in Victoria.
Nobles Mal Hurst, Terry Webster and Ben Quick of the recently formed Melbourne Shrine Club were also in attendance. Shriners members were Fezzed (initiated) the following evening at DBC in a ceremonial in front of sixty attendees.
Shriners is open to all Master Masons who are seeking ‘fun’ while raising funds to assist children with serious medical conditions.
