Fund Raising News

In 2010 we are committed to running four Sausage Sizzles at Woolworths, Station Street, Camberwell where the profits will be donated to Camcare's "Youth Suicide Prevention Programme". We are looking for volunteers to cook, prepare, collect money, set up and clean up and generally to help this very worthwhile cause.

On the 11th July, 1883 a meeting of Freemasons was held at the Vine hotel, Bridge Road, Richmond. Present were Bros. Whittaker, Hutchinson, Smith, Hall and Mitchell with several apologies received from interested brethren. A petition to form a new Lodge in Richmond was drawn up for presentation to the recently formed Grand Lodge of Victoria, also known as the Coppin Grand Lodge. read more »

Wow, a 60 year certificate

At our February 2008 meeting Wor.Bro.Ray Mitchell, P.J.G.D is presented with his 60 year certificate. Ray has been a great asset to Richmond Lodge and he has shown his enthusiasm in the manner he has partaken in the various Rituals. Ray graciously thanked Ian and the Lodge for the presentation.

Tuesday 11th December 2007. There was no Lodge meeting on this night. However, we had a Ladies and non-Freemasons night in its place. Being December and close to Christmas, the theme for the night was orientated towards Christmas Day. The dining area was festooned with all the trappings of Christmas. read more »
